On 29 August, Land-Motorsport reached an important milestone in its history – its 25th overall victory in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. 24 races in four championships on three continents: the 2019 motorsport season had an extensive programme in store for MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport. And now, Wolfgang and Christian Land can look back on an exciting, yet also demanding year with successes and podiums.
Once again, the weather played havoc with the VLN. The second round of the season, a four-hour race around the Nordschleife, was cancelled after one round due to snow fall. Despite the bad weather, Audi Sport Team Land still came away from the weekend in high spirits after securing pole position.
The first race of the VLN endurance championship’s new season started on 23 March at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport saw the test in the Eifel as an important preparation step towards the legendary 24-hour-race in June.
