Double points-paying finish at the Norisring The fourth round of the DTM season at the Norisring (3 to 5 July) proved a real challenge for Land-Motorsport. However, Bastian Buus and the team from western Germany showed plenty of fighting spirit on the streets of Nuremberg to secure two points-paying finishes. At the Lausitzring from 19 to 21 June, the team lacked the pace needed to challenge for top results. A points finish in Sunday’s race was the maximum that the team and driver Bastian Buus could salvage from the third event of the season. On Saturday, Bastian Buus underlined the team’s potential by qualifying fourth, demonstrating the pace needed to challenge for top results. In the end, however, the hard work put in by the team at Circuit Zandvoort went unrewarded.
