Eye-catching foil wrapping designs, team clothing and the new Land-Motorshop – behind all this is the “Kreativ-Werkstatt Herwick” run by managing director Sandra Herwick. She has been supporting Land-Motorsport for many years in the areas of foiling, designs and clothing. We spoke to Sandra about how this collaboration came to be and what fans can expect in the online shop this year.
What does your partnership with Land-Motorsport look like and how did it come about?
Land-Motorsport approached me with their ideas a few years ago. We got to know each other and then I stuck with them. At that time, they were still active in the Porsche Carrara Cup Deutschland. Then came the switch to Audi and participation in the ADAC GT Masters. All in all, it’s been over eight years that we’ve been working together. We are responsible for the foil wrapping of the race cars and parts. This means that we also receive individual bumpers or sills to wrap so they can be quickly replaced during races or during the season. We also take care of the team clothing, obtain and print it, as well as the pit walls and the lettering on the trucks and trailers. In short, we take care of everything that has to do with advertisement technology. A new addition is the fan shop, which we also look after and for which we produce the products in-house.
How did you come up with the idea to set up a shop?
To be honest, I’ve been after this for four or five years. At that time, we would have been one of the first teams with our own shop. This year it finally worked out! Of course, such a shop is a lot of work – first we need to make sure the fans know we have it. Therefore, it is now important to stick with it, advertise it and expand the range of products. People are almost being overwhelmed with offers and online advertising, that’s why we’re slowly working our way forward and want to stand out with exciting new products and inspire fans in the long term.
What else do fans have to look forward to?
We will continuously offer new products in the shop. There is also a look behind the scenes at how we work and produce the products. In this way, fans build a connection with the products. What the fans can particularly look forward to this year are, for example, large-format pictures on metal plates with an acrylic look, printed deck chairs for the summer or unique floor mats. We just want to offer something different than just clothing. Since we produce everything ourselves, we put it in the shop and let the fans decide which products can stay.
