On the dot for the 2024 ADAC GT Masters season’s finale at the Hockenheimring (18-20 October), Sandro and Juliano Holzem were able to celebrate their best performance of the season. The two Land-Motorsport drivers landed twice in the Top 5 during their appearance in Hockenheim.
“Sandro and Juliano have shown a steep learning curve over the season and now rewarded themselves with their season-best performance,” summarizes team manager Christian Land after the chequered flag had fallen. “We’re incredibly proud of the development the pair have made over the six race weekends. After initial difficulties, they’ve grown from weekend to weekend and proved they’ve got what it takes to fight with the frontrunners. In addition, we’d like to say a big thank you to all supporters and fans who’ve accompanied Land-Motorsport this year.”
With a grid fourth and eighth, qualifyings had already shown the fast twins were a force to be reckoned with at the weekend. They confirmed their performance in both races and secured two Top 5 places. The 20-year-olds delivered two error-free rounds and were at all times capable of keeping the leading group’s pace. Sandro and Juliano’s fourth place on Sunday meant just narrowly missing the podium, but concluding the year with their season-best performance.
“Right from the start of the weekend, we felt extremely comfortable in the car and could steadily match the pace of the frontrunners,” said Juliano Holzem. “Special thanks also go to the entire team. Guys you’ve done a super job this year and always presented us with a perfectly prepared car.”
