The Norisring once again proved to be a fruitful venue for Land-Motorsport, as the team continued its upward momentum in the DTM. Ricardo Feller delivered an impressive recovery drive in Nuremberg, complemented by a strong qualifying performance and a solid haul of valuable championship points.
A standout highlight of the weekend was the special livery for the Audi R8 LMS GT3, created in partnership with streaming platform Joyn. Thanks to the media collaboration with ProSieben, the striking black-and-green design turned heads both on the live broadcast and among the 112,000 fans at the circuit. TV cameras shadowed the team throughout the weekend, offering viewers exclusive behind-the-scenes insights. The commentators were even able to speak to Feller live during the formation lap.
Feller was on top form from the very first session on Friday through to race two on Sunday. The Swiss driver once again proved he’s among the fastest on the tight and twisty streets of Nuremberg, consistently making the most of challenging situations. The pit crew also delivered their usual high-calibre performance, preparing a perfectly set-up car to take on the demands of the weekend.
“This is my fourth year in a row racing the Audi R8 LMS GT3 at the Norisring, and this weekend the set-up was the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of driving,” said Feller. “Finishing ninth and twelfth made it all the more rewarding. Huge credit to the entire team – they were absolutely fantastic this weekend. None of this would have been possible without them.”
The next round of the DTM takes place from 8 to 10 August, as the series heads to the Nürburgring to kick off the second half of the 2025 season.
