The second half of the DTM season kicks off with a special highlight for Land-Motorsport. Not only will the team from Niederdreisbach be competing in their home race at the Nürburgring, they are also returning to the scene of their greatest success to date with Ricardo Feller.
“We are entering the second half of the season with plenty of confidence,” says team principal Christian Land. “Those who have followed us over the first half will know that we have been able to improve our performance from race to race. That’s why we are looking forward to getting back on track. The Nürburgring is a hugely important circuit to us – not least because of its vicinity to our base in Niederdreisbach. We have also been lucky to celebrate some of our greatest accomplishments here in the Eifel mountains.
One such accomplishment was winning the title in the 2021 ADAC GT Masters. Together with Christopher Mies and Ricardo Feller, the Audi team secured their second title in the prestigious GT series at the Nürburgring season finale. Although this weekend is not about fighting for the championship, Land-Motorsport will still be looking to grab some important points and set the next marker in their debut DTM season.
“I want to secure that first podium of the season as soon as possible,” says Ricardo Feller. “We were a little misfortunate in the first few races of 2025, but that gives me even more motivation to achieve our goal. We have fond memories of the Nürburgring and are positive that we are in good shape ahead of the weekend.”
As at the Norisring, Feller will be competing in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 featuring the special livery of streaming provider Joyn, as the team’s partnership with the ProSiebenSat.1 Group continues. The new look proved to be a good luck charm last time out in Nuremberg, with the team from the Westerwald picking up some valuable championship points.
