Land-Motorsport is continuing its DTM programme in 2026, with the team’s entry together with Porsche being revealed at the manufacturer’s Night of Champions event. The effort will be spearheaded by top talent Bastian Buus.
“We are very proud to remain part of the DTM moving into the new season and firmly believe that we have a strong package in partnership with Porsche,” Christian Land said ahead of the team’s second year in the highly competitive GT3 championship. “In our debut season we demonstrated that we can be right up at the sharp end of the field, and that’s something we will be looking to build on in 2026. With Bastian we have a young driver who brings a lot of talent to the table.”
Not only does Buus offer plenty of potential, he also has a wealth of experience racing with Porsche. The Dane has already lifted numerous trophies in Porsche one-make series – including a title win in the 2023 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup as a Porsche Junior at the age of just 20. Buus has already recorded victories in the Porsche 911 GT3 R, the same car he will compete in the DTM.
Land-Motorsport, Porsche and Buus – who will be marking his DTM debut in 2026 – will be looking to achieve similar milestones in the coming year. Christian Land and his team already showed that they have what it takes to be successful, with the team securing one race win and multiple podium finishes over the course of the last season. With the Porsche 911 GT3 R, the team will be competing with the car that won the DTM title in 2025.
The first showdown comes at the end of April 2026, with the DTM hosting its curtain-raiser at the Red Bull Ring in Austria from 24 to 26 April.
