This result is impressive: from 5 out of 6 races, the Land-Motorsport team has walked away with a podium. Most recently, Carrie Schreiner and Peter Terting were successful at the GTC Race on the Nürburgring.
“Our 2023 motorsport racing programme is different to that of previous years. Our return to the GTC Race was a part of this change,” says Christian Land. “What hasn’t changed though, is our ambition. We always try to get the best out of everything and we’ve been able to do this with the events at the Lausitzring and Nürburgring.”
The three races in the Lausitz in particular, ran entirely according to the Team Manager’s plan. “Carrie and Peter didn’t need a long time to get used to us. On the contrary – things were very informal right from the start and we worked well together. That’s why we were able to secure a third place straight away in the GT60.”
According to Land, commitments in the GTC Race or in the 24H Series have a special effect. “Lots of people didn’t realise that we offer customer racing in these series. That’s changed,” he explained. “We can offer a professional package to interested drivers. This includes, amongst other things, cooperation with our experienced engineers and a top crew.”
Last race weekend demonstrated what this support looks like: the STT (Special Touring Car Trophy) took place within the GTC Race framework and Stefan Wieninger celebrated a double win in an Audi R8 LMS GT3.
