At Circuit Zandvoort, the second round of the 2024 ADAC GT Masters championship held from 7 to 9 June, Land-Motorsport will be competing for its first championship points of the season. After the setback at the start of the season, Sandro and Juliano Holzem now want to go all out.
“We can hopefully show what we’re capable of this weekend. After the suboptimal start to the season, we now want to prove to everyone that we can compete at the front,” says a confident Sandro Holzem. “We will do everything we can to put on a good show for our fans.”
The weekend traditionally starts on Friday. There are two 45-minute training sessions on the schedule. Here the duo will lay the foundation for the rest of the weekend.
“The expectation is of course to be at the front of the field. We have already been testing the newly built car and felt comfortable right from the start,” adds Juliano Holzem. “Zandvoort is one of our favourite tracks and that’s why I’m sure we will deliver a good performance this weekend.”
Things will get really serious for the first time on Saturday morning between 8:25 and 8:45, when the best starting positions for the first race will be up for grabs. The starting lights for the race will turn green at 15:15. In hopefully good spirits, the second day of racing will begin at 9:00 with the second qualifying session of the weekend, before another 60 minutes of fighting for points and podiums begins at 13:25.
