Land-Motorsport is gearing up for a brand-new adventure as the DTM season begins at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben from 25 to 27 April. Although the venue for the season-opener is familiar territory for the team, there are a number of new challenges to contend with this year.
One of the first things Land-Motorsport will have to get used to is the DTM’s single-driver format, with Ricardo Feller taking charge of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. Regulations such as the performance pit stop between minute 20 and minute 40 of the race, as well as the penalty lap for minor misdemeanours and Pirelli’s spec tyre, are also new ground for the team.
The DTM has made some slight updates to its race format for the 2025 season. All 16 championship races will be run over 55 minutes plus one lap. In addition, a second mandatory pit stop has been added for the Sunday races, making strategy choice even more important.
Fans in Germany can watch all the action this year live and for free thanks to the broadcast package with ProSieben and Joyn. All free practice and qualifying sessions will also be shown live on ran.de and on the DTM’s YouTube channel.
