As the 2024 motorsport year is coming to an end, it’s time to look back. From successful partnerships to a successful development program and two talented twins, the year had a lot to offer again. In addition to our comeback in the ADAC GT Masters and the continuation of the GTC Race program, the Niederdreisbach-based team also continued the successful and partner- and friendship with the Kirchhoff Group in the 24H Series.
It was the news that Land-Motorsport fans had been waiting for: the long-awaited comeback in the ADAC GT Masters. Together with the two fast twins Sandro and Juliano Holzem, the Audi team returned to the place of past success after a year of absence. Adding to a long tradition of working with young drivers such as Kelvin and Sheldon van der Linde and Ricardo Feller, the team once again demonstrated its outstanding ability to bring out the best in promising talents. The duo demonstrated a steep learning curve and showed their talent with several top 5 results and fastest race laps.
Also making great strides in learning, were Ivan Peklin and Konstantin Gutsul. The two Ukrainians started their development program at the beginning of the year with the clear goal of taking part in the FIA Motorsport Games at the end of the year. Without any experience behind the wheel of a GT3 car, there was a lot to learn for Konstantin Gutsul in particular. Together with his compatriot, Gutsul quickly got used to the special characteristics of the R8 LMS GT3 and felt completely at home behind the wheel since their first win in Spa-Francorchamps.
Stefan Wieninger also felt at home once again. In two guest starts in the Spezial Tourenwagen Tropy (STT), he finished in first place in every race with his R8 LMS GT3.
Last but not least, the team with household names such as Dr. Johannes Kirchhoff, Wiggo Dalmo, Stefan Wieninger, Elmar Grimm, Ingo and Tim Vogler as well as Max Edelhoff started in the 24H Series both at the Hankook 12H Spa and at the two endurance races in Misano and Barcelona. This came with resounding success: the trio of Dr. Johannes Kirchhoff, Stefan Wieninger and Elmar Grimm was victorious in the heatwave of the Hankook 12H Misano. They also achieved two further top-5 finishes, which once again testified to excellent teamwork.
The entire Land-Motorsport team would like to take this opportunity to thank all partners and fans for their support this year and wishes you a happy Christmas!
