The ADAC GT Masters season gets underway for Land-Motorsport from 23 to 25 May at the DEKRA Lausitzring, together with the DTM weekend. Behind the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II, Carrie Schreiner and Alain Valente are looking to make an impact right away in the opening round.
“After our successful test at the Lausitzring two weeks ago, I’m feeling really motivated and looking forward to the start of the season,” said Carrie Schreiner. “It will be my first time taking part in an 80-minute endurance race. Of course, I have a lot of respect for the challenge, but I’m confident that with Alain as my teammate, we’ve got what it takes to make it a strong weekend.”
Speaking of endurance: the race format first tried in 2024 season, returns this year to the ADAC GT Masters – this time at three of the six race weekends. What does that mean exactly? Race distance is extended to 80 minutes, with an additional driver change and refuelling pitstop added to the mix. Fans can look forward to the extra action not only at the Lausitzring, but also at the Salzburgring and in the Eifel at the Nürburgring.
As in previous seasons, all twelve races will be broadcast live by TV partner Sport1. Races will also livestreamed on sport1.de and on the official ADAC GT Masters website.
