The Land-Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3 will be sporting a fresh new look at the Norisring. At the only street circuit on the DTM calendar, Ricardo Feller will take to the track in a special Joyn-themed livery – the result of a media partnership with broadcaster ProSieben.
“The DTM already provides a great platform to showcase not only our team, but especially our partners,” said Christian Land. “This collaboration will allow us to significantly expand our reach. Fans can look forward to extensive coverage throughout the weekend on ProSieben.”
What is Joyn?
Joyn is the online streaming platform from the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, offering a wide range of live sports – including, of course, the DTM. With the Joyn app, fans can catch up on all replays, interviews and highlight shows from the popular racing series.
To promote the service, the #29 Audi R8 LMS will compete at the Norisring in a special one-off livery featuring Joyn’s signature colours. “We’re excited to see the spectacular Joyn car on the DTM grid,” said Gernot Bauer, Vice President Sports at Seven. One Sports. “We’re very grateful to Land-Motorsport for developing and implementing the concept so quickly and efficiently.”
When and where can fans catch the action?
Ricardo Feller is looking forward to the weekend: “I’m hoping the special livery at the Norisring brings a bit of luck and helps us finally turn our season around – the potential is definitely there.” The action kicks off on Saturday at 9:40 with the first qualifying session, followed by the weekend’s two races at 13:30 on both Saturday and Sunday. ProSieben will broadcast all qualifying and race sessions live.
