Land-Motorsport starts the 24H Series season with the Hankook 12H Spa-Francorchamps. From 19 to 21 April, a quartet of ambitious drivers will take turns behind the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS GT3.
With Dr. Johannes Kirchhoff, Tim Vogler, Wiggo Dalmo and Max Edelhoff four familiar faces return to the cockpit of the car painted in the eye-catching colours of the Kirchhoff Group. After the perfect end to the season at the 24-hour race in Barcelona, where the quartet achieved class victory together with Ingo Vogler, the team is heading into the first endurance race of the season with a boost of confidence.
“This is an exciting stage of the season right now. Our race programs in the different series are starting up and the final preparations are being made. This is also the case for the 24H Series, for which we are in an exceptionally good position,” says team manager Christian Land. “Our goal is to build on the positive development of last year. Together with drivers like Johannes, Tim, Max and Wiggo, we have already achieved a lot in 2023.”
Practice and qualifying on Friday: After testing at the beginning of the week to set up the car, the official part of the event begins at 12:10 with a 90-minute free practice session. Shortly afterwards, between 15:30 and 16:25, the best starting positions for the twelve-hour race will be awarded. A special feature is the division into three qualifying sessions. The average time decides the final starting positions.
