Well and truly arrived in the DTM: At the Hockenheimring season finale, Land-Motorsport and Ricardo Feller underlined their place among the front-runners of one of the world’s most fiercely competitive GT series with a podium finish.
The beginning of Land-Motorsport’s DTM journey was far from straightforward. The programme with Ricardo Feller only came together in the spring, just ahead of the season opener. With so little preparation time, it was clear that Christian and Wolfgang Land’s team would be starting on the back foot against their more established rivals. Nevertheless, they made steady progress, improving with each passing weekend.
“Hockenheim was another great example of how our hard work has paid off,” said Christian Land. “Strategy, pit stops, set-up, procedures – we’ve made great strides in all these areas. We’ve truly arrived in the DTM, and the last few races have finally begun to bear fruit.”
Feller managed to finish on the podium for the third time this season in the Land-Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3. This second place, coupled with the race win two weeks ago at the Red Bull Ring, means that Feller is one of the drivers to have collected the most points in the closing stages of the championship.
“Of course, we would have loved to reach this level earlier in the season,” said Feller. “But the DTM is extremely tough – you only get to the front when everything comes together perfectly, just as it did at Hockenheim. We had a strong qualifying and were able to turn that advantage into second place thanks to an excellent strategy and a lightning-fast pit stop.”
And yet Land-Motorsport has taken more from the 2025 season than just good results. The team’s debut in the DTM also marked the beginning of a new chapter in its long history. “We are incredibly grateful for everything we’ve experienced this year,” Land added. “We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.”
