For ten whole years at Land-Motorsport, everything revolved around the four rings – and with some significant success, too. Together with the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer and its Audi R8 LMS GT3, the team managed to achieve stand-out results both in Germany and on the international stage. Every race, every win and everyone who was involved helped to write this story of success.
The past ten years have been defined by hard-fought victories and nerve-racking moments across countless race weekends. One event, however, stands out above the rest: the 2017 Nürburgring 24 Hours. That year, Connor De Phillippi, Christopher Mies, Markus Winkelhock, and Kelvin van der Linde guided the team to a sensational win. In one of the most dramatic finales in the race’s history, the quartet kept their cool and brought the Audi R8 LMS GT3 across the line in first place. It remains a triumph that Land-Motorsport remembers with particular pride.

But the victory at the Nürburgring was far from the only highlight in the team’s successful partnership with Audi. Land-Motorsport also left a lasting mark on the ADAC GT Masters – on several occasions, in fact. Their debut season with Audi in 2016 proved to be a breakthrough, as the team made an immediate impact by securing the drivers’, teams’ and junior titles. It was a perfect demonstration of how seamlessly Land and Audi complemented each other. In 2021, Wolfgang and Christian Land’s squad repeated the achievement, cementing their status as one of the most successful teams in the championship’s history.
Success on the other side of the Atlantic was also a regular occurrence. In the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Land-Motorsport entered some of the most prestigious races in the United States and was competitive right from the outset. It didn’t take long for the team to prove that they belonged on the US stage, winning Petit Le Mans in 2017. Land-Motorsport also made the headlines at other famous races such as the Daytona 24 Hours, the Six Hours of The Glen and the 12 Hours of Sebring.
In 2025, the next chapter began in the DTM — unexpected perhaps, but all the more emotional. With the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II and Ricardo Feller behind the wheel, Land-Motorsport took on fierce competition, navigating the season’s highs and lows with confidence and gaining valuable experience along the way. As the team’s profile rose sharply and its fanbase expanded on this high-visibility stage, podium finishes and a race win marked their ascent toward the front of the field in one of the toughest GT series in the world.
Behind all these achievements and unforgettable moments are the people who made them possible. Land-Motorsport’s sincere thanks go to the entire Audi team, whose support and guidance – both behind the scenes and at the racetrack – have meant so much over the years. The team is equally grateful to the partners, many of whom have become close friends, including drivers such as Christopher Mies, Ricardo Feller, Connor De Phillippi, and Kelvin and Sheldon van der Linde. All good things come to an end, and this partnership is no exception. Land-Motorsport would like to express its thanks to Audi for an extraordinary and successful journey together.
