The DTM launches its new season from 24 to 26 April, with Land-Motorsport returning to the grid of one of the world’s toughest and most popular GT series for a second consecutive year. Compared with last season, however, much has changed.
Season-opener: Unlike in 2025, when Motorsport Arena Oschersleben played host to the first round of the season, the DTM will get underway in 2026 for the first time in its history at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria.
New manufacturer: Land-Motorsport raced with Porsche up to 2015, including in various Porsche single-make series and international GT motorsport. In 2026, the team will once again be partnering with the Stuttgart-based marque as one of two Porsche teams in the field.
New car: The switch to Porsche also means that the team from western Germany will be racing with new machinery this year: the Porsche 911 GT3 R. The #29 car has been christened Scarlett – the name chosen by the team’s fans in an Instagram poll.
New drivers: The team welcomes a new face in the form of 22-year-old Dane Bastian Buus, as the 2023 Porsche Supercup championship and former Porsche junior driver makes his DTM debut with Land-Motorsport. For Buus, the chance to race in the championship is a dream come true.
What remains is the extensive coverage of the series: All 16 races will be broadcast live on ProSieben and will also be available via streaming provider Joyn. The Munich-based media company will once again be partnering with Land-Motorsport for the upcoming season.
