Land-Motorsport still has unfinished business in the DTM in 2026. A series of setbacks has prevented the team from converting its pace into a top result in the opening four races of the season. At the Lausitzring (19 to 21 June), the team aims to build on the strong form it has shown since the start of the campaign and turn that performance into a substantial points haul.
“The pace is there, and the motivation always has been,” said team principal Christian Land. “We have been competitive in qualifying sessions and in the races themselves, and feel well-equipped to tackle the Lausitzring. We have been busy working on our weaknesses over the past few weeks.”
A test at the Lausitzring in early June provided the team with valuable insights ahead of this weekend’s race meeting. Together with Bastian Buus in their Porsche 911 GT3 R, the team gathered a wealth of data that will help fine-tune the car set-up for the event. Buus also boasts a strong track record at the Brandenburg circuit, having claimed pole position in the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland in 2022 before going on to win at the circuit in 2023.
Fans can expect to see a packed programme of action at the third race weekend of the 2026 season, with two DTM races each lasting around one hour. Both start at 13:30 and can be followed on ProSieben and Joyn.
