Land-Motorsport travels to the Sachsenring from 11 to 13 September for the seventh and penultimate round of the 2026 DTM season. The team from western Germany will be looking to build on its top-10 finishes from the most recent race weekend at the Nürburgring.
The team has plenty of experience at the Sachsenring, having competed at the circuit in both the DTM and ADAC GT Masters. In the latter, Land-Motorsport has celebrated two victories as well as several podium finishes. For Danish driver Bastian Buus, the circuit is also familiar territory.
“The Sachsenring is a circuit that I know very well from my time in the Carrera Cup,” said Buus. “It’s very unique, so I hope we can get everything right there. We have already tested at the track, and I would say the Porsche is well suited to it, with its tight corners and heavy braking zones, as well as the layout in general.”
Last season, the team demonstrated its potential at the Sachsenring with an impressive comeback drive, as Ricardo Feller gained 13 positions in the Audi R8 LMS GT3. This time, Land-Motorsport will be aiming to deliver strong results with the Porsche 911 GT3 R.
As usual, both DTM races will be broadcast live on ProSieben and Joyn on Saturday and Sunday, with the green flag at 13:30.
