Wolfgang and Christian Land’s MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport crew looks back on a successful season in five different race series and three 24-hour races, where they celebrated numerous wins, podiums and pole positions.
Preparations for the 2019 season are already in full swing for MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport. The Niederdreisbach-based team will be competing at the Rolex 24 at Daytona from 25 to 27 January, entering a Audi R8 LMS GT3 driven by Christopher Mies, Dries Vanthoor, Ricardo Feller and Daniel Morad.
Joys and sorrows for MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport: In the fight for victory in one of North America’s most prestigious endurance races, tyre damage repeatedly threw the team back. However, despite all setbacks, the drivers delivered an impressive chase and finally secured sixth place in the GTD class.
The MONTAPLAST by Land-Motorsport team will once again be tackling the unique challenges of the Motul Petit Le Mans from 11 to 13 October. At Road Atlanta, Christopher Mies, Sheldon van der Linde and Daniel Morad will be looking to repeat the win the team celebrated here in 2017.
