Land-Motorsport returns to the place where its DTM journey began. It was at Oschersleben that the team made its debut in Germany’s premier GT series in the spring of 2025. Since then, Christian and Wolfgang Land’s squad has come a long way.
“The past one-and-a-half years have been a real challenge,” said team principal Christian Land. “We entered the DTM as rookies and had plenty of hurdles to overcome. Now we’re heading into the second half of our second season, and it’s impressive to see how much we’ve achieved together as a team.”
Among the biggest challenges was the switch from Audi to Porsche. Adapting to the Porsche 911 GT3 R required time, but driver Bastian Buus has already demonstrated the car’s potential with several promising performances at the start of the season. “Now it’s about converting that pace into more points,” said the 23-year-old Dane. “I’m feeling very confident heading into Oschersleben.”
Although Buus will be racing at Oschersleben for the first time as a DTM driver, the Motorsport Arena holds special memories for him. At just four years old, he visited the circuit with his father to watch DTM legends such as Tom Kristensen. “Those memories are probably the reason why I have such an affinity with the DTM,” Buus said.
The Oschersleben weekend marks the fifth of eight rounds on the 2026 DTM calendar, taking place from 24 to 26 July. Both races get underway at 13:30 local time on Saturday and Sunday and will be broadcast live on ProSieben and Joyn.
